Vigilance - Artist: Michael Mucci
East Africa, 2024

Together, two cheetahs survey the open plains of East Africa, their attention fixed on the landscape before them. For a moment, they are perfectly still—two sets of eyes searching the distance for movement, opportunity, or danger.

Cheetahs are renowned for their extraordinary speed, but survival begins long before the chase. It requires patience, awareness, and an ability to read the slightest changes in the world around them.

Vigilance captures the quiet intensity of that shared watch—two hunters united in stillness, alert to everything that moves beyond the horizon.

Before the chase begins, they watch. Together.
