Kati and I arrived in Delhi, where the vibrant sights and cacophony of sounds immediately engulfed us, creating an exhilarating atmosphere that was unlike anything we had ever experienced. The airport, a whirlwind of activity, felt like complete chaos yet somehow operated with an underlying rhythm that made sense. Despite the minor setback of missing our connection in Paris, the rest of our journey unfolded without any further complications, allowing us to embrace the adventure that awaited us in this bustling city.

Traveling to India truly requires an open mind and a spirit of adventure. We embarked on our journey by flying from the bustling city of Delhi to the tranquil town of Jabalpur, where our excitement began to build. After landing, we set off on a scenic four-hour drive that wound through picturesque landscapes and charming villages, leading us to our first destination for observing majestic Tigers in their natural habitat – the renowned Bandhavgarh National Park. This journey not only introduced us to the beauty of rural India but also heightened our anticipation for the wildlife experiences that awaited us.

Our journey through Bandhavgarh and Kanha was nothing short of magical as we tracked these magnificent tigers and eventually made our way back to Delhi with hearts full of memories. The warmth and hospitality of the local people left a lasting impression, while the breathtaking landscapes created a perfect backdrop for our adventure. However, our experience also highlighted the harsh reality that these incredible tigers face from the dual threats of poaching and the relentless encroachment of human activities into their natural habitats. It became increasingly apparent that we must act quickly to document and celebrate these awe-inspiring creatures before they vanish from our world forever.
