Hi there!
Katrin Weiss
Katrin’s journey from the picturesque landscapes of Germany to the vibrant streets of the United States has shaped not only her artistry but also her profound understanding of the delicate threads of nature and humanity. With a lens that captures both the grandeur of untouched wildlife and the intimate stories of diverse cultures, she invites viewers to reflect on the intricate connections we share with our planet. Her adventures around the globe are fueled by a deep commitment to conservation and a belief that each photograph serves as a reminder of the beauty worth protecting. Through her work, Katrin strives to inspire a dialogue about biodiversity and the wonders that exist just beyond our doorstep, encouraging everyone to embrace the adventure of discovery while fostering a sense of responsibility for the world we cherish.
Kati: “The world is filled with beauty and unfortunately not enough people realize it or see it. To be able to go out into the world and visit wild places and experience the bio-diversity of our planet, whether it is in -30 degree weather in Mongolia or right here next to my home in Southwest Florida, is incredibly important. Only we can save our planet.”
“When we are out taking photos, we try to spend time getting to know the locals. They are much more than numbers in a newspaper or in a political speech. These are real people with the same wants and needs as many of us. Bad things happen to good people all the time and it is not a person’s fault that grows up less fortunate or without the comforts that we have enjoyed. Getting to know these people as individuals help us understand their point of view and goes beyond the headlines of the day. Many have become friends and have helped us “find the shot” on our travels, and we are empathetic to their struggles and find them to be kind, generous, warm-hearted people. Too many people forget that.”

His work reminds us that every moment spent in nature can inspire adventure, evoke nostalgia, and deepen our connection to the earth we share.
Michael: “I still have my childhood photo albums. When I look through them, I am instantly 10 years old again with my family all around me. Many are gone now, but the photographs have that kind of power. I hope my photographs do the same.”
